This is my version of Frank Ocean’s album cover for Blonde. It is heavily inspired by a photo in his magazine - Boys Don’t Cry. The rationale behind the illustration is that it loosely resembles the original cover while paying tribute to the aforementioned photo in his magazine. It also speaks to the sadness that the album conveys as shown by his distressed position. The pink and blue background represents my interpretation of the story the album is trying to present where the guy (blue) is reminiscing about his past with a girl (pink) and how his world revolved around her. And finally, the track list in the back is meant to be handwritten because it conveys a raw and emotional aesthetic that resembles writing a love letter.
